What is the furthest limit on a movie for which a child can watch?

My son and daughter are reaching the beginning stages of teenage years, and I think it is only fair to let them have more of a variety in what the watch. Whether it be movies, television shows, or music videos. But, I'm not so clear as to what is considered "inappropriate." Now, sexual content, extreme violence, and bad language is not something I want them to see, but is there a limit to the maturity of a movie which a child can watch?|||So they are about 12-13, correct? PG-13s are fine, but make sure you take a look at the MPAA ratings on why the movies got the ratings they have. All TV-PGs are fine, for TV-14s, again, just take a look at an episode or two to see what kind of content will be displayed in the episodes, you be the judge if the contents are appropriate or not.

Good Luck...

鈽衡樆|||not really, asside from the typical ratings which can be rather flawed in some respects. it ultimately depends on what you think your children are mature enough to handle.|||honestly im 13 almost 14 and my parents let me watch any movies. its not bad, i even watch movies like knocked up and the hangover with them.
