What is the maximum age limit to enlist in the Army Reserve?

I've looked on several websites to find out the maximum age limit for the Army Reserve. I've found that on one website it said 27, and another website it said 34, and another one said 43. Does anyone know the actual true age?|||42 for the Army and that is if your not prior military and you have to be out of Basic before you turn 42





Vet-USAF|||To enlist in the army reserve you must be between the ages of 17 and 34, be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien, be healthy and in good physical condition, and be in good moral standing.





They've started thinking about changing the enlistment age to 17 through 39 but for now it's still until age 34.|||Nazgul is correct. The Army changed this in 2005 and still has not updated their own freaking web site.





On the page showing active units they still show some the were de-activated in 2005 and 2006.





The Army will take prior service up to 59 if you can be qualified with 20 years (for retirement purpose) by your 60th B day.

Unless you are a professional in certain fields, ie lawyer, doctor, etc. then there can be exceptions.
