How does the central limit theorem relate to statistical inference?
I need to understand how the central limit theorem ties into confidence intervals and hypothesis tests. Thanks.|||If you have a large sample size (~%26gt;=30), you can use the central limit theorem to say the resulting distribution is approximately normally distributed. You can then use Z- or t-tables to calculate the confidence intervals or use Z- or t-statistics in hypothesis tests.
