How much above the limit can you get away with from a speed camera roadside trap?

Just wondering, if caught in a roadside police camera trap, how many miles above the speed limit can you get away with,


i.e, what have you been caught on?


Ive passed at 36mph and never heard a thing but got 3 points 34mph in a 30 zone.


Bad I know!|||it really depends on who's behind the radar gun but on the open road you can usually get by with 5 mph over but in town one can never tell.....|||IT depends on what the particular agency sets it to. Those things are generally only put out in places where there are a lot of speed related crashes, or neighborhood complaints. As such depending on the area the threshold may be different.
