How much over the speed limit is considered a "major speeding" violation to insurance companies?
I've heard that if you receive a speeding ticket for 25 MPH or more in excess of the posted speed limit that it is considered to be a "major speed" violation and that most insurance companies will cancel your policy if this happens. Is there any truth to this?|||A ticket for 25 MPH over the limit is considered RECKLESS DRIVING and it will cost you dearly for insurance from now on. Expect to pay exorbitant insurance rates for about 4 or 5 years.|||they check the whole driving record/not just one incident
