What attempts to limit alcohol consumption have been made in recent years ?

What attempts too limit alcohol consumption have been made in recent years ? How efficent have they been ?|||Cannot speak for all: But states have been force to stop people from enjoying alcohol all with poor (IMO) results.

People should learn how to consume alcohol. Best in the family where control is near absolute. Wine with dinner, Home Brewing.

Alcohol is a food.

One attempt that I have not seen advocated by the new Prohibitionist, is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY with SEVER Consequences.

Driving impaired on whatever Loses your license for 2 years! No, need for work BS. If you need your car for work, then you did NOT need that last drink.

I acknowledge that women ought to be punished for drinking while pregnant, abuse to a minor (in uteri) ---

People ought not have to report to police/government about getting a drink. I read that beer kegs must have an ID tag on them and that the seller must take ones name/address/and ID # and be kept(60 days, in the non computer days), now it is forever.

States like to demonize sellers of alcohol --- but avoid the drinker. Heaven forbid that some psychology major at some state social agency will be out of a job, if she/he would admit the problem is not with the substance, nor its seller, it is with the drunk individual and not state program regardless of money spent can fix that.
